Description
My reimagining of Brainstorm. A lot better than my first take on him zigwolf.deviantart.com/art/Bra…A lot of this redesign came from Brainstorm's Omniverse design. I got rid of his arms because this version also has telekinesis and from an evolutionary point, I think using telekinesis would make having arms pretty useless and they would lose them after a couple of millennia. I also got rid of his mouth because this version eats by filter feeding through his brain and he talks with the universal translator attached to his belt.

Personally, I think the whole "reading minds by reading electrical signals" was just them trying to justify the electric jellyfish alien's telepathy. Plus, in "Ghost Town," Zs'skayr was shown using some form of telekinesis.
Indeed, we needed villains who could go outmatch Ben on a mental level as well as a physical one. In fact, Eon could've easily been that exact kind of foe(seriously, guys, he's supposed to be an evil future version of Ben, take advantage of that!!!).
Actually, the predators idea was pretty interesting, since it gives more background to the various aliens' homeworld(s)(plus, it brought us Khyber).

Never saw Ghost Town, read the summary though. There was something about Zs' Skayr showing up out of nowhere after the last time we saw him burst into flames after being exposed to the sun while in space and then taking over Vilgax's planet and turning his people into Ectoneurites. After reading up about that and how his planet was name changed to Vilgax and apparently every Vilgaxian (Ugh) loves Vilgax and is completely loyal to him and blind to his villainy known across the galaxy.
Yeah, as a guy who can time travel, he could think up and put events into motion that might guarantee him victory. I agree about the predators and what they offer to the series, but I think using them falls under the brute force category.

To be fair, after that scene, it's revealed that Zs'sakyr's back in the omnitrix, so he could've escaped in the intervening time between OS and Alien Force(of course, it would've been better if we'd actually SEEN his escape, McDwayne!).
My guess is that the UAF crew wanted their own Doctor Doom expy... which only serves to further baffle me as to why they thought Vilgax would be the ideal candidate(since, if Myaxx in "Secret of the Omnitrix" is to be believed, the Chimera Sui Generis either hate or fear him). Guess it just goes to show just how little the UAF staff actually knew about Ben 10.
Plus, as a future version of Ben, he(assumedly) should know everything about all of Ben's aliens' strengths and weaknesses.
True, but I also see it as using Ben's aliens' weaknesses against him.

Oh yeah that's right. I looked it up on the wiki and it stated that Zs'Skayr was removed by Azmuth from the Codon Stream and put inside a prison til he escaped........LAME!!!! This excuse was one of many as to why I hate Primus and the Codon Stream. If Zs'Skayr could of escaped and materialize on Primus, then why did he need to escape from the Omnitrix if his DNA wasn't in it and was in the Codon Stream. Why didn't the writers think about this before writing ? I'm so glad Primus is retconned now.
True, true.
Yeah, that would of been good to have Ben fight Eon and Ben can't land a hit on him since Eon knows all of Ben's aliens inside and out.
Yeah.

How would you have explained/written Ben being able to turn into Ghostfreak without becoming possessed by Zs'Skayr?

Well I'd think after meeting Azmuth in Secret of the Omnitrix, Ben explains the situation with Zs'Skayr escaping and Azmuth puts a DNA suppressor on the Ectoneurite DNA strain so that Zs'Skayr's genetic intelligence doesn't override Ben's control whenever he's Ghostfreak and escape again.

Would this effect Ghostfreak's appearance, or not?

Well I think Azmuth might give Ghostfreak his sun proof skin back because I remember that when Ben got Ghostfreak back it was as Zs'Skayr's form.

Agreed.
Not even just his aliens; since he's a future version of Ben, Eon knows him inside and out, too(how he thinks, which aliens he'll chose in many situation, etc.).

I feel this new design suits him! Good job! ^_^
P.S. Have you seen the pictures suggested on the right side of this drawing?
