The reimagined versions of Cortex's henchmenΒ
Cortex's personal army that he can create in less than a week. They can learn any skill by neural downloading so they are easily interchangeable in any job they are given. The source of genetic material for the clones comes from Norton Gates an old boss of Cortex's who made his life a living hell. So now Cortex rules over the copies of his former tormentor with and iron fist.

Something that I forgot to mention about your reboot...I like how you put thought in even the smallest things, like the henchmen. I really like this backstory.Β

I can see a running gag with these guys where Cortex will kill one over a petty offense.

Yeah,Β that's one of the gags with these guys. The other is that
Cortex has 20 clone assistants a day because they all get destroyed
in variousΒ sometimes humorous ways and replaced within minutes.
Another one is that Cortex uses the clones as furniture like as chairs
and footstools.

Me too. They still do it here, it's one of Cortex's favorite noises. Ever since I remembered it this year I've been trying to find any videos of it.

Yeah I figured that would be a good spin on the typical henchmen. Plus Cortex likes to make stupid clones so can put them in dangerous situations for his amusement.Β

Yeah he really is and since he doesn't consider them human he doesn't feel the least bit sorry when they die by accident, by an out of control mutant, or by his hand.
