My reimagined version of Gary Oak from Pokémon.

For his new history, Garrison Oak has always had a fascination with Pokemon due to his grandfather, Samuel Oak, being a prestigious researcher of Pokemon and his best friend, Ashton "Ash" Ketchum having the same enthusiasm for Pokemon as Gary has. The Oak family have treated Ash and Delia just as they would if they were real family. Gary and Samuel act as a brother and father figure to Ash. Samuel vowed to teach Ash all he knew and Gary would watch out for Ash when they took their journey. Gary and Ash did start their journey together but Gary was on a whole different level compared to Ash. Ash sensing that he was slowing down Gary, let him go ahead and not worry about his promise. Gary was saddened by this but accepted it, letting Ash know that if he needs help at all, just call him.

Gary's clothes are meant to be functional and well as stylish. Gary is also well equipped with items and devices that fit efficiently in his messenger bag and pouch.

Gary will not reach the Kanto League Championship in time to register and takes a different course to become a Champion, The Trial of the Elite Four. Helping Gary is his massive team of powerful Pokemon.
