A reimagining of Misty from Pokémon.

For her new story, Misty comes from a family of mariners who settled and found a home in Cerulean City. She lives with her parents, Thames and Ezili, and her sisters, Lily, Gale, and River. When Misty was 10, her lighthouse home was turned into a Pokemon Gym and her parents were made into the Leaders. At 15, Misty took part in a seafarer tradition which marked the passage into maturity and adulthood, she went to sacred underwater caves and took part in 3 trials. The Trial of Bravery where Misty pulled a tooth from a Sharpedo's mouth. The Trial of Generosity, where she was given the choice between taking either jewels, gold, or three single pearls. The Trial of Friendship where Misty would need to befriend a wild pokemon in order to get back to the surface. With this final trial, Misty gained her first ever pokemon, Staryu. With the trials complete, Misty presented her offerings of the tooth and pearls to her parents. They etched their special family mark into them and presented them back to Misty as proof that she is not only an adult now, but a true seafarer and Aquato.

One year later, Thames and Ezili were on a rescue mission to help a post hurricane devastated area, leaving their daughters as the Gym Leaders. Around this time Team Rocket started becoming a bigger threat and striking at Pokémon Gyms. The Leaders met at a summit and discussed what they learned about TR, unaware that one of them was the Leader of this new threat. Giovanni threw some false information out at the summit in hopes of using his enemies to get him closer to his goals, one of them being the capture of an experimented Pichu and the trainer of owned it, who was also a person of interest to Team Rocket for unknown reasons. The Leaders thought that someone should follow this trainer and Misty suggests she can do it since no one know about her compared to the actual Gym Leaders. Pewter City's substitute gym leader Brock volunteered to join Misty and find out why Team Rocket wants this trainer and his Pichu.

I combined Misty's anime design with her HGSS design for this reimagined version of her.
