Description
A new villain and/or teammate for my Monstrosities idea.For his story, Drake was originally Vlad the Impaler, the greatest warrior and general of his father's kingdom. There was talk among the people of the kingdom of Vlad soon taking over his father's empire and Vlad the II heard of this. Not wanting to ever give up his rule, he plotted to kill his son. During his war against the Ottoman Empire, Vlad was sent to the frontlines and in the battle he was shot in the back with an arrow by a servant of his father. With hundreds of deaths under his belt, Vlad was sent to hell where he learned the truth of his death. Making a deal with dark forces, Vlad was resurrected as a vampire, meant to usher in a new era of darkness and bring back the vampires from the brink of extinction. Vlad, now taking on the name Vladislaus Dracula returned to his father's kingdom and under the cover of night he killed his father and made vampiric servants out of his father's bodyguards and sent them out to turn the strongest of people into vampires and kill the weakest. From that moment on, the Tepes empire sought to expand it's rule over the world and cover it with darkness and fill it blood. Unfortunately for the vampiric empire, a group that dealt with monsters, the First Order of Hunters, arrived and killed every vampire including Vlad's bride. Vlad could not be killed by traditional means and was instead branded with a V by a holy weapon and sealed away in a chained silver casket and hidden away in a Hunter fortress for centuries.
In the present, Vlad's casket was opened by an Hunter lackey and Vlad took the opportunity to feed and escape. Unfortunately for Vlad, no matter how much he fed he couldn't regain his strength fast and has to seek reclaiming his former strength another way. That would come in the form of witch in training, Luna. Since witches are wary of vampires, Vlad needed to find a way to get close and shifting into a single bat to befriend the witch would be his best bet. Now Vlad serves as Luna's pet and familiar in training with a whole new name of Drake.
Vlad's abilities are flight, supernatural strength and speed, healing, blood vision, shapeshifting into many bats, wallcrawling, sixth sense, and controlling his blood to form armor and weapons.

The brand scar is around his forehead and eyes. It's an upside down V for labeling him as a vampire.

Will a succubus & an incubus join in?
I feel some Demitri Maximoff in him. What about a dhampir (half-breed vampire)? Someone like Blade/Donovan Baine?

In Darkstalkers, Morrigan Aensland is a succubus. So is her counterpart Lilith.
What about adding "Darksiders"? Meaning the four horsemen of the apocalypse? If you've heard of the game series that is.

I only have a basic understanding of Darkstalkers, but I don't know the story all that much. There are Four Horseman in this but who they are, are people no one would expect.

Thanks! If you look closely at that collar thing, you'll see two dots on each side. That's a little nod to the two bite marks a vampire would make on necks when feeding.

Sorry was busy so I never got to see this. Ok so from what I've seen of what you've written to others you want it to be either he was the son of a vampire and rebelled, or he went to hell and was brought back by a deal.
As far as what I had for him, it was mostly a mix of them both, but with his father being the one that had made the deal...though I think that it might be interesting that instead of the Devil making the deal it be one of the Shadows (hope you remember them). And also, Vlad's/Drake's (don't know where Drake came from, not an issue just wondering) father was the original Vampire, born thousands of years ago. In that time he had conquered Romania/Transylvania (got any name for a mixture of the both?) and forced the humans to be slaves and food sources, while the race of Vampires flourished and created a country for themselves. So eventually Vlad senior fell for a third generation vampire named Maria? and they gave birth to Vlad. Vlad's father would have conquered the world with his vampire army, but King Arthur and Red Queen stopped him and sealed him and his armies away (where, I don't know)
So x years latter someone opens the seal and Vlad's father, Vlad and the vampire armies are freed. having discovered a way to become immune to the sun from spells made by a dark witch cult (maybe the same one that posses Luna in the Monstrosities Dark story idea) and so now they can march over the lands without fear of day. However, as Vlad reawaken he had come across an ambassador of the kingdom that had once been his father's (he had been sent to uncover any useful information on the new world they had woken to) and he had fallen in love with her.
Then the Team arrives and hey fight against Vlad and his father. In the mist of battle Vlad finds the ambassador was killed and discovers it was his father (which is even worse as Vlad had told his father he had wanted to turn her and marry her, which his father ignoringly agreed to) So they fight, Vlad wins, and now he has to find out who he is on his own; which is difficult for him since after centuries of doing evil deeds it is hard for him to decide what is the better way.

Thanks. Yes, he's a prince and immortal, but immortal in the sense that he's ageless, he can still be killed, but that's hard to do.

Well my original idea was that he'd be Vlad the Impaler (altered for this version) and died in battle. For all deaths he caused in war, he was sent to hell. But he made a deal was sent back to earth with his dead body undergoing a massive change from human corpse to a vampire body with black blood capable of many things other vampires cannot do.

Well right now there are two different stories and I'm trying to find what works and what doesn't in each one to make for a great combined story.

Well my story involves the story of Vlad the Impaler becoming Dracula after dying and making a deal with the devil to return to Earth and serve his dark purpose. He wreaks all kinds of chaos and ensures his legend in all of history, but eventually gets captured and imprisoned because there isn't a way to kill him in that time, but there might be one in the future. Centuries of imprisonment have taken their toll on Drake (my name for him) and when he escapes, he's split between being the dark being or being something else he might not have ever considered being, a hero.
From what I remember, the other story involved Vlad being the son of Dracula and rebelling against his father to become a hero and make up for all the horrible things his father did. I actually only remember that much because I talked about this version like nine months ago.

Here's a thought: was Vlad born a vampire (genetic mutation or species) or is it a curse? In this case, I'd suggest taking a look at Vladimir the Crimson Reaper from League of Legends. Truth be told, this might also give you some inspiration for other characters considering the wide range of champions available, but I can only guess. Either way, this guy is cool!
