Description
Adobe Illustrator CS.Again with my vector pieces, I wanted to push away from what I consider to be my 'comfortable' styles. Styles which I fall back on because I find them easy or accessible. I had the idea for the rough composition and colours whilst on holiday, so it was really just a matter of choosing a colour palete which gelled, but didn't *quite* feel comfortable. Something that jarred just a little bit. I'm happy with the result. Looking forward to getting this as a print

Very creative and must have taken quite a bit of time [for the correct proportions and structures]. I'm not familiar with illustrator, well not very well anyway. Good use of 3D tool and an original piece, can't wait to steal it xP.
Haha joking =].

Ohh, you're good.
I'll get that program soon. But I've never seen it in my life and I already suck on PS .
At least I have a Wacom Tablet .

You don't usually see vectors that look this 3D (outside of gradient meshes anyway). Really cool feeling of depth.

This will probably just sound wierd. This piece immediately caught my eye so i full viewed..but as i stared at it first it seemed familiar..then it started to bother me and make me nervous..it's like something my brain would create and focus on and reverberate until I was dizzy and nauseated. It's the kind of thing I see when I have a fever! You know, when your brain can't stop this picture moving until you've broken a sweat finally and feel shivery and relieved...you're the artist of my brain illness, i'm not sure that's a compliment. But intensely personal and provoking..every artist wants that...right? Sorry if I just came off as offensive.

This makes me think of the 70's for some strange reason. It looks almost like an upside down version of the logo used for the old dancing show "American Bandstand". It would probably make an excellent cover for an "ABBA" album too.
Nice.

All it needs now is a gigantic Chupa Chups logo in a corner...
Seriously, loving the colours. All the black and [colour of choice] abtracts can get a bit samey after a while, they're nice individually but bring nothing new to the table. This has got excellent movement, patterning, colours, depth, detail... it's so just relentlessly cheerful, but in a way that's not even remotely annoying. Even if it does look a bit like a business chart at in the background
The triangular composition clearly works very well
The circles, in a way, offset that as well, they prevent it from being a very angular, uncomfortable piece, and instead make it seem playful.
Isn't it nice when you make a happy picture

I really like the over all design of this one. The play with color makes it stard out well and the repition in the background is a nice tuch.

love it, I just don't like the block shapes in the background.. doesn't go with the curvy flow of the piece I think..

Oh my god its the 70s! Really brilliant piece, i get a very musical vibe from it. The curling organic shapes at the front says jukeboxes, and the bars at the back digital equalisers. But in the 70's. Really like the way you chopped between 3D shapes and flat reflections also.

A nice piece. I like the perspectiv you've used on this as well, though I'm a little confused as to how you got it. I realise it's not 'real' 3D, but it certainly looks it. I'm assuming you've just squashed the shapes a little and added depth?
