They have multiple forms in variable sizes. Not to mention they can consume the biomass of the Zerg to unleash even more deadly and powerful nids.
That's their thing dawg.
Not to mention the sheer massive fleets they have. Half of an entire Galaxy is consumed by them. What do the Zerg have? 1 planet and a few hive clusters.
Plus Nids has bio weapons that shoot a potent acid formula that'll probably melt those damn Zerglings by the dozens.
