Background story time...

Once upon a time in the magical land of Equestria, There was this Chaos space marine. He was scouting for more worlds to plunder for his warband... The dreaded black legion!
He was beginning to lose interest until he came across a local inhabitant. It was a small yellow pony. At first the Chaos space marine thought it was just a mere beast, Until it was speaking to the other wildlife.
The Chaos space marine was surprised, Then he chuckled with a maniacal tone. He then followed the pony hoping it would lead him to more of them, until she led him strait to ponyville.
Observing the locals allowed the Chaos space marine to discover that these were Xenos which were the pure essence of innocence and kindness, A perfect offering to the blood god.
The spilling and massacre of these harmless beings would be pleasure to the daemons and relaying Chaos forces the Chaos scout was intending to summon.

At this same time, A Tau task force was making a small outpost on the outskirts of the thick forest outside of the local civilizations. This specific unit of Tau forces were ordered to maintain a healthy and sturdy alliance with the locals. They have yet to make contact with the peaceful yet primitive race.
A Tau fire worrier relay team was making a scouting path for the other Tau cadre to safely progress through the dense forest. But they noticed a Chaos space marine attempting to open a small rift in the warp to summon reinforcements by sacrificing the very same yellow pony that he had been following. The Relay team Would not stand for the sacrifice of an innocent and harmless creature.
They opened fire upon the Chaos space marine, making an effort to halt the warp tear.

After a long firefight with the Chaos marine, they defeated him by cunning tactics and superior firepower. Thus rescuing the small pony from a heinous and bloody death.
the pony was in shock after seeing what she had witnessed. They weren't used to seeing death and the spilling of blood.
One of the Tau offered assistance, The pony was really shy but soon became acquainted with the soldier of peace.

And everyone lived happily ever after. (except the Chaos marine)
