Ladies and Gentlemen, may I present to you the first official foregry of the concept art for Disney's telling of The Snow Queen! (Now called "Frozen" apparently.)Yes, the rumors are true. Elsa the Snow Queen is alive and well. I thought it might never have happened, but I don't think anyone expected this to make its way back to the drawing boards! Now she's here, there's no telling WHAT might happen! I just hope I'm prepared for it!
I hope you like this rendition! It took me ages to get her coat right! I personally can't wait for this, so I'm begging for the folks at Disney to hurry! But then again, you can't rush art!

I can't wait for this movie.. and I definitely can't wait to see the final design of the Snow Queen, though, I wish they would keep this one. Your rendition almost looks exactly like the concept art. I applaud you, Zora. Well done!

Yeah..I wished it to be a 2D movie, for a change, but it seems it I'll be in CGI. WHY. I mean Tangled is great and I have nothing against 3D movies either. I just FELT this had to be in 2D.

Euh, I really don't like their name for it. "The Snow Queen" sounds so much cooler (durr hurr, "cooler" XD) and more mysterious. "Frozen" just seems kind of...cheesy to me. Like Tangled, I think it would've been better titled "Rapunzel," as that's the name of the fairy tale. (This one better be in 2D! 
But, anyway, this drawing is beautiful!! The lines are very clean and pretty, and I love the detail on her sleeve! It looks fantastic! Great job!!

I agree, I understand about "attracting audiences" and all, but "The Snow Queen" just really pops. I'm not one to judge or anything, but it sounds like a Tangled spinoff. As I said, I understand target audience concern, but Disney really shouldn't be (for lack of a better word) "embarrassed" to call things what they are. Tangled was told by Flynn anyway, so there's not really any concern there.
(Believe it or not, this was just from the waist up! I would've done the full body, but I wanted to really capture her facial expression up close!)
