#038 Muffinite
Precious Gem Poke'mon
Rock Type 3'1" 48.7 lbs

Poke'dex:
A slow-moving poke'mon, Muffinite scrapes the floors of caverns, smoothing rocks into precious gems as it eats them and disposes of the wastes through it's head, where the gems grow, and fall off.

A nocturnal poke'mon, Muffinite is almost blind. If it were to leave the caves it dwells in, the outside would take getting used to, as the sunlight would be so strong Muffinite would need months to adjust to the brightness.

Bred Muffinite however have no known problems with their eyesight, as their trainers have them exposed to sunlight from birth and keep them nutritionally balanced in diet, allowing for healthy eyes.

You can tell a Muffinite is blind if its eyes are glazed over yellow. A seeing Muffinite has bright blue eyes.

When a Muffinite eats the right rocks, it is said that sometimes it will produce special stones key to poke'mon evolution.

I mean, how can you NOT love a Muffin?!

The chips in a muffin were obviously replaced with precious gems and evolutionary stones, which I thought was a pretty unique idea at the time.

I have some very special plans for a Feeding System for Muffinite to produce special stones and gems for poke'mon evoluion.

Muffinite will evolve once through levelling up in a certain condition, but only a seeing Muffinite can evolve past the second stage and into the third stage. But more will be revealed on that in the future! <3
