By far one of the strangest poke'mon in the Chubu region, scientists are still trying to figure out how this poke'mon came to be. It is theorized that this poke'mon was born when a strange energy mixed with the remnants of a traffic accident, but the theory has many holes and unanswered questions in it.

Traffico is a traffic-cone shaped and colored poke'mon, that is often seen in public assisting Traffic Cops or at the scene of a major accident.

The palms of each of its hand-like appendeges has a light on it. One red, one green. Traffico is aware that in the human traffic system these represent "STOP" and "GO" and therefore its attacks based around these lights can be devastating to its opponent.

Since the Light Type is already Super Effective against the "Speed" type poke'mon, who base their abilities and advantage in battle on their high blinding speed, if Traffico catches them with its "Red Light" attack early in the Battle, they will be unable to move for three turns. If it uses its "Green Light" attack on its opponent on their last turn, it will release them from the Red Light attack, but take away half their remaining HP. If Traffico accidentally uses the "Green Light" attack before the final turn of "Red Light"'s attack, then Traffico will lose half of its remaining HP instead.

So trainers watch your turns! But even if you don't want to use a light type attack, Traffico is a zapy little fiend of the electric variety as well. Its favorite attack, "Shock'n'Stop" shocks the opponent and has a %100 guarantee of Paralyzing the opponent!
