Description Of the Nithe pantheon, Morrigan is the oldest known Nithe. She is one of two Majestrix that control the pantheon. Actually, unbeknown to most, she was the first Nithe. Originally created as a companion of the Duid 'Chi, she was later programmed with ambition, a sense of purpose, self preservation. Upon realizing what had been done to her - her 'innocence' as it were - stripped away. She killed her Duid 'Chi mistress and duplicated the programming to other companions. This started the Nithe - Duid' Chi War that lasted thousands of years.
Eventually a truce was reached and the two 'races' went about their separate ways after the Duid 'Chi were almost exterminated and developed weapons that could destroy the Nithe.
For more of the story - read Gatecrash, written by Greg (Gregory Kent).

Very, very doubtful that one that is so powerful would submit for bondage. However, she would make an excellent, if not cruel, domme.

Looks like I've got something I need to go and read, here! Very interesting city in the background; it's got that whole 'floating' aspect to it that certainly seems to imply otherworldly building capacity. I quite like how her fingers/lips and all are color coordinated.

Yes, it is a great read. You can get it off of Amazon. Two parts currently, with
two other ones in work. When I first met Greg, he asked me to read it - and
normally I'm very leary of some Sci Fi stuff - and I have read some poor examples.
Once I got past the Prologue I was already hooked. Greg's a very visual writer.
You can see the images and the characters. His technical information is very
thought out and thorough. I was so impressed I married the author (grin).

Since Morrigan has roots with the Duid 'Chi, it only seemed fitting that she
has a fondness for that color - even though she did almost exterminated the
race.

I like in the third book (in progress) where she has a garden within her home
and there are plants and animals there that had long died out on the Duid 'Chi
home planet. Morrigan is a very interesting character. Her 'nemesis' is Helle.
We have a new one of her for me to render. Helle is as deadly as Morrigan, but
Helle tends to be more devious than Morrigan. Morrigan will always be superior
as she is the First.

Gehenna, the home word of the Nithe is a dead rock in space, very cold, with
towers and underground compartment. Some place that most humanoid creatures
would be wise to avoid.

Wow. You know you're a good writer when someone marries you because of it! Thanks for bringing this to my attention; I'm a bit low on decent science fiction to read of late after plowing through the last rack at the library. Hate the loans, they take so long!

Yep, he's pretty awesome as a writer as he is an artist. I'm very lucky to had met him (match.com does work).

The novels are a bit pricey since we self published the lot, but there were quite a few that wanted the read, so
we went that route. Greg's got a couple of more that he is looking for an agent to represent. One of them defies
categorization and the other is a fantasy romp (based upon our lovely Tasha). I'd love to see the Gatecrash series
made into a mini-series. There is enough material there and it is well thought out and the aliens are very
different than most Sci Fi that I've either seen or read. If you want to read the prologue, it is available on the
Gaterunner web site: [link] . You'll have to navigate to find it. It'll give you a taste of what the
novel holds.

Eeeexcellent! *Makes off with the link* Readable both at home and while at work waiting for the reports to finally process! Seems like there's quite a bit on that site.

How's the agent hunt going for him?

Beyond slow... he has gotten any nibbles yet (except from me).

I figure in these days just about anyone with a computer thinks
they are a writer and have the time to post stuff for free. And
no doubt agents are besieged with tons of crap as well.

Let us know what you think of the prologue.

Hmm, good point on the whole Sturgeon's law deal. Agents must have to wade through 95% crap to find that five percent they actually publish.

I shall indeed.

Thank you. Lovely and dangerous. Her violet coloring goes back to her Duid 'Chi heritage.
The planet is basically a violet atmosphere and everything is colorations of pink, purple and violet.
