This is the last drawing in a series of people that I am paying homage to. Russell was a teacher of mine who put a human face to art, I great artist himself, thanks Russ!

This is absolutely stunning, It's as detailed as Chuck Close's work, but holds the soul and personality I don't find in his work. I would compare it to an Imogen portrait, it is not just one jesture or expression, but a life of them that makes up the details in this piece.

This is a beautiful drawing. I'm doing displays at a museum at my college, UNR, regarding minerals and their use in art. I'm going to use this as a graphite example, I hope you don't mind. Tell me if you do, it's a great picture. Thanks.

this blows my mind... it is more realistic then any photograph i have seen, like the way you capture his wrinkles and the little spots on his face, most artists will say the way to capture the perfection of a picture is within the eyes... and i do believe you have done this very well, the only thing that made me think this was a drawin instead of a photograph is the shirt because the texture seems a little off (an EXTREMELY minor defect so small most wouldnt notice)

unbelieveable. There is no room for improvement. My only thought is that it is too realistic. I have found that it is sometimes difficult to convince people that something is hand done and not a digital image or a photo.
