IT'S STILL FEBRUARY, THIS COUNTS AS A VALENTINE'S DAY PICTURE

Irma (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) and Detective Matt Bluestone (Gargoyles) in the kitchen cooking up something sweet for for a certain heart-themed holiday!

This is a coupling I came up with for a crossover universe a friend of mine's, Cakeless Pixels, and I came up with. Cakeless was trying to figure out how to handle Irma's love life. I ran through a few different characters in my head, finally tossed out Matt's name, and the rest is history. Guess I should point out that Cakeless updated Irma's character for our story setting and she isn't anywhere near as, er... well, dimwitted as she is in the 80s cartoon. Cakeless' take on her is more awkward and silly then anything. These two have really grown on me as a couple; they're both fruit loops in their own way, and I think this version of Irma wouldn't drive Mattie to the bottle.

I think I could've made this more overtly romantic, but I'd never really drawn Matt prior to this.
