bawww sorry if there's anything you don't understand, I was pretty brain-dead by the time I got to compiling this ahhhhh, so just ask me if something's not clear.
Anyway, the pic used is ~Senichi-Kanako 's gaia auction art, I upgraded it to RL commission quality in exchange for the right to make a tutorial out of it :>
I swear when it's less hot and I'm less brain-dead, I'll make tutorials with actual readable writings in them sob.

The program used to colour was paint tool sai and then uses photoshop to edit afterwards.

Oof! One question from me too!
Your lineart is not connected as I see, that means u dont use the magic wand tool. You overcolor your lineart right? Color over the lines. But now, after everything is ready, do you erace the colours that are over the linart edges? I mean zooming in and working over all the edges with the eracer tool...

I make a different layer below the lines. uhhhhhh you should familiar yourself with layers first.

Yes ofcourse, I understand that, but after you have colored your pic under the lineart, then do you work over the colored layer with the eraser tool to make look like it was "colored within lines". sorry if Im too confusing...

I think what you are asking is if she did the line art, colored, then erased the colors that were outside of the lines. That she did do.

hello there! I have a question...do you know how to load brushes, textures, etc on sai?? I tried googling it but i think i typed the wrong search words -_-...
