This was created for an online magazine, Play.d
I've been doing illustrations for them and this month they asked for a Dreamcast cover! Being a big fan of all Dreamcast and Sega, I loved every second of it.
Seeing the final picture I wish I did a few things differently such as the sizes of the background characters (Ryu is way too small) but happy with the outcome.

Wow, there's a good point - where are they?! They remade Powerstone 1 & 2 for the PSP, I'm sure they could do a quick XBLA/PSN fix!

unfortunaly like with older consoles its impossible to get the good games for them , all there is left is the crappy bass fishing and other games that nobody plays more than 15 minutes worth. I hope to get my dreamcast soon Ive been dieing to play timestalkers, sonic adventure and Doa 2 again, unfortunatly my copy of skies of arcadia is gone forever, of course I got the remakes of those games for the other consoles but you just dont get the same feeling that you do when playing on the dreamcast.

Nope, mines kept very well... Although it's technically my 2nd Dreamcast. My first one was crushed accidentally as my friend stepped on it... But my 2nd (/current one) has been going strong for many years now!

Treat her well...so you never have to open her up and see whats on the inside...
(It's not technically hard to fix a dreamcast, it's just inconvenient)

I've opened up both of them as it goes. The 1st to see what was crushed, and the second time was to replace the orange LED with a blue one, as I've got a European (blue swirl) Dreamcast. It looks neat with a blue light

Oh no, it was a modification. Even though they changed the logo to a blue swirl, they kept the orange light... It annoyed me so I changed it

i never had a dreamcast when it came out..my parents wouldnt get me one..though they got me a genesis (WTF?)
however my bro bought me one & i wait impatiently everyday for it to come in the mail..
i bought this beauty for shenmue & jet grind radio
JSRF & shenmue 2 are my fave games on xbox,so i had to get the originals!!

Mortal Combat wasn't exactly a huge DC game (although I did enjoy MK4 on it myself) so I tried to keep it to either DC exclusives, or games that were big on the DC.
