Cool shot, how long of a trip did you make out through there? We visited Alice Springs when we were there, not much going out there...lol! Ayers Rock was amazing though!

I loved when we visited the outback--drove from Alice Springs to Uluru on a tour bus--also Charters Towers by Townsville. You've captured something of the spirit of it all...

It's a windmill - it powers a pump that draws water up from under the ground.

I think it's just there to water stock. Our farms are huge in land terms because we have little of feed value.
