Description Heyyy, here's some new artwork, and lo and behold it's the old blue hedgehog! Well I say old, this is his new design from the latest game, Sonic Boom! Hence the title...I also think this is the first deviation of 2014 hahahahah I'm so sorry.

I love this one! I have to say that the new Sonic from Sonic Boom isn't very good for me, but deviations like this make me like him a lot sometimes.
Your technique is awesome, I love the combination of colors, the blue light layer in the shoes and the shadows! My, those shadows...!

The only thing that bugs me in this drawing is the right hand pose (Not the one pointing, to be exact). I know, I know, Sonic has many ridiculous original poses, but it feels somewhat off to me. I would reccomend to make a close hand next time, but that is all!

Thanks you, it's quite a new style for me, kinda ended up being an amalgamation of several different styles I've seen over the years, like for one it surprised me how much when drawing this I was reminded of aspects of E09ETM's old sonic style.
