At first I thought that I was doing really well. I had to admit that my career isn't for the feint of hearted. You see, what I do isn't exactly above board so to speak. Hmm, the best way to describe it, well you could say it like this.

Those goons that you see superheroes fighting. Like the purse snatchers and those holding up a convenience store? Well, that would be me, although I haven't ran into any superheroes up until recently, I had been caught a few times. Those costumed freaks might not have been around, but regular cops would and on occasion they would arrest me. Even did a stretch inside for it.

This time, I was sure that I was going to make a big enough score so that I could live the rest of my life without having to lift a finger. The only real place that I could get those kind of funds was from a bank. But it wasn't like I just waltzed in there one day and robbed the place right there and then, no that would be stupid.

Instead, I took the time to research the building and see the best way of getting in and out. I even looked into the policies of the bank so I knew when they would have the most amount of money in the building. I was also able to hook up with a great getaway car that I was sure was faster than anything the cops had.

When I actually pulled off the heist, everything went exactly as I planned. I was able to get in, hold the place up, get my cast and then flee all within a few minutes. I quickly got into my suited-up getaway car and began to flee the scene. I was breaking speeds that you'd only see in NASCAR or Formula One and when I saw the cops trying to chase me, I could only laugh as I knew that they didn't stand a chance.

For a little while, I even thought I was home free. The high life was right in front of me and after I ditched this car, I would slip away, and the cops would never see me again. That was until I felt a loud thud on the ground. At first, I thought it was just my own excitement but unfortunately I soon discovered that this wasn't the case.

Just then I felt the sides of my car partially dent inwards as if something was grabbing onto it. The next thing I see, my car seems to be flying in the air, my foot is on the gas, and I can hear the wheels spinning. But it seemed as if I was slowing down as well. I hadn't come to a full stop, believe me, if I had I would have gone through the windshield. However, as I was being lifted up, I soon saw something that I thought was impossible.

By the time my now flying car had come to a halt, I saw what I thought was some kind of machine in front of me. It looked to be the head of a robot but was absolutely enormous. At least twenty feet tall and I was confused with what it was. However, I soon realised that it wasn't a machine, no it was something that I recognised. That was when it decided to speak to me.

I can't remember what it said exactly but it was some kind of joke about almost getting away. The first thing I notice that although the voice was loud, it was definitely that of a woman. That's when it clicked in my head what I was looking at. This being that was currently holding onto my car as if it was some kind of toy, was a superheroine.

I had seen her on the news every now and again, one thing I remember sticking out with me over it was the fact that she had two superhero names. Some of the time she was known as Wasp but I'm pretty sure right now that she was using her other alias, Giant-Woman. To tell you the truth, the name was very fitting.

As much as I wanted to get away, I knew that I was completely at her mercy, and I could hear the police sirens from below. I heard her chuckle as she did decide to put my car back down onto the ground. However, rather than placing me back down properly, she decided to turn my car upside down as she knew that I wouldn't escape. I even heard her chuckle as she did this and before I had a chance to craw out, the police surrounded me.

A part of me was glad when they placed the cuffs on me, and I couldn't help but look up at Giant-Woman as she seemed to be watching over me. I heard her say something to the cops arresting me and then I saw something that I still think is absolutely amazing. I saw a woman who was as tall as a building then shrink so small that it was difficult for me to see her and then flew away.

I was still in awe what I saw as they put me in one of the cop cars and took me away. I knew that I wouldn't be seeing the light of day for a long time, but at least I had a good attempt of getting away with it.
