Description
Did this on my free time before graduation. That's right. I am gonna graduate (if I pass the Personal Finance final exam -_- Fuck.) Also, Pixlr sucks at doing what Photoshop does better. But I still use it in case of no Photoshop on any school computer. The Rave manga has ended with Haru and Elie getting married and having a son. I see less hate and more love.
The Fullmetal Alchemist manga, as well as its faithful "Brotherhood" animated series ended with Ed and Winry having kids. Again, less hate and more love.
Unlike both the Rave and FMA ending, The Naruto Manga finale, as well as The Last caused a controversy by having an ending when NaruHina, SasuSaku, SaiIno, ChoKarui and ShikaTema were canon. Because I see people bitching about the ending, especially anti ending people who were hardcore NaruSaku/NaruSasu/SasuKarin/SasuHina fans.
And this doesn't make any sense. Yes, FMA, Naruto and Rave are different shonen mangas made by different publishers and artists, but come on. Why the ending of Nardo is hated while FMA and Rave isn't when the ships are canon?

I hate SasuSaku and how it was established.
I hate how NaruHina was ruined in the end - but I totally disagree with how you see its development in the series itself.
Hinata wasn't just having a crush on Naruto (like the one Tamao also had on Yoh, which is the reason I keep comparing those two series and couples) - Hinata was GROWING due to that crush (and honestly, she gave Naruto quite a few personal pointers as well, definitely more than Sakura ever did).
I keep comparing Hinata with Tamao and Sakura with Anna - because only Anna and Hinata are the active participants of their interactions, while Tamao and Sakura are very passive, not giving OR receiving much benefit from being close to Yoh/Naruto.
Hinata grew a lot due to Naruto and helped him overcome his insecurities on a few crucial occasions.
Tamao, on the other hand, doesn't benefit from Yoh almost at all, in any sense of progressing.
Anna had supported and helped Yoh grow a lot, even if she pretended it was merely to become the Shaman Queen by marrying him; she also literally saved him many times.
Sakura, again, never supported Naruto in an open way, nor did he influence her to change for the better at all; she also saved him less times than Hinata did (physically and mentally combined, of course) - and it's Sakura who is the main character, ya know.

Okay, first, you need to work on your formatting. It's rather difficult to read a wall of text.
I honestly can't see that growth you're talking about. She had "grown" between each of her appearances, but they were spread far enough apart that there could be any number of factors involved. Naruto was likely a major contributing factor, which I feel diminishes Hinata's character. Having a character's crush be their sole motivation for development, is not a good thing. In fact, it's a horrible thing from a psychological standpoint. She's incredibly emotionally dependent on Naruto for the vast majority of the manga, thinking about him before even her own family. That's not a good thing. In fact, that the exact same thing that people hate Sakura for. Her obsession with Sasuke, is exactly the same as Hinata's obsession with Naruto, only Naruto never tries to flat out murder her.
Honestly, I really don't think you're being fair to any of the character's in this argument. I was never on board with NaruSaku, I saw it as the most logical choice, and I felt they had some good chemistry. The thing people seem to forget, is that the Naruto cast was 12 years old at the start of the manga. I really don't think it's fair to judge their decisions as harshly as people do. They're kids and kids are horrible to each other all the damn time.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure we've gone off topic here.

Unlike Sakura (who was obviously motivated ONLY by Sasuke, which has been explicitly shown in quite a few annoying events), Hinata isn't MOTIVATED by Naruto - she's INSPIRED by him and his EXAMPLE.
While Sakura seems to progress FOR Sasuke, Hinata rather progresses DUE to Naruto, not FOR him.
Meaning, Sakura SHOWS OFF her skills before Sasuke (heck, this IS obvious, just read her SEAL ACTIVATION moment, it was super annoying to me), while Hinata never does that AT ALL (I don't recall her ONCE thinking about "I must show Naruto how strong I am", as opposed to "I must protect or help Naruto", at least not after the Exams and them actually talking to each other).
Are you AGAIN one of those IDIOTS, who whine about "Hinata not caring for Neji's death, but rather about Naruto's hand"?
That one is so FALSE, I'm tired of explaining the obvious.
Good chemistry my ass.
I like YohAnna, despite how much she pounded on him constantly - and I hate NaruSaku NOT because she abused him physically, rather Sakura gives me plenty of OTHER reasons instead.
Sakura also was 16-17, when she did most of the things I dislike her for.

I have to disagree. While you're definitely right about Sakura being motivated by Sasuke, I don't agree on Hinata. Maybe it's just my dislike of her character, but her goal has always been "to walk beside Naruto-Kun", which to me seems to indicate she's motivated by him. Every time she get's a moment of "character development", it's somewhere Naruto can see her.
You know, if you're going to be insulting then we can end this discussion right here, because I see no point debating things with an angry 12 year old.(See, I can insult people too.)
You have a different opinion, that's fine I'm not trying to force you to change it. However, I would greatly appreciate you not attempting to make out your opinion is the RIGHT one. You have your perspective on the series, I have mine.

Whatever.
I still like the canon Hinata, while I dislike the canon Sakura.
And by that, I mean precisely how they are shown in the manga, not how I or you perceive them.

That never did with NaruSaku. Naruto and Sakura has a lot of screentime together, but the latter has feelings for Sasuke throughout the manga. She never loved Naruto, not even when she was little.
But you're gonna say that neither did with NaruHina/SasuSaku anyway.

Yes. Yes I am. A one sided romantic interest, does not a destined romance make. If all it took for someone to fall in love, was a confession then Sakura and Naruto would have been dating part one with how often Naruto asked her out.
