One of the best Hyperion pictures I found - why are those so rare anyways? I would so love to see those shiptrees, and those planets and places!
You really give back the dynamics of that bloody combat, Kassad's resolve and the pitch he's getting himself into despite being a strategical and tactical genius!

Y'know, if you edited this so there's a few inches of needless space above, you could submit this for a cover art for that book for its next reprint!
Just "Here's the original but if you want a full bleed cover and room for the title, here's an alternative"
Pretty easy, all you'd have to do is finish the tip on the shrike's arm and the color of the background is simple.
Short literally of the late Frazetta, I doubt anyone could have done an illustration for that work better....
