"Nimrod, a mighty hunter by the grace of God." always liked the tower of babel story, I was actually hoping to develop it into a community project in a couple of months, after my current one has run it's course. Nicely shot, and good call on the thickness of the pile itself, really pleasing to the eye. Good choice of text.

This is just a great shot... shows that u dont need tons of money or equipment to produce a great shot. I actually went to the link to read the story and i think the image fits perfectly with the morals and story of the Tower of Babel. Great idea and nicely executed

Diggin' the concept and digging the photographic skill - I even dig the typography (and that's a rarety, I can assure you 
I only think the whole thing could have been alot stronger by making the tower bigger (unless you didn't have more pocketmoney
Another, very minor detail: the shadow above the coins is a little bumpy/distracting. I take it as being reflection from the coins, but it also could have been some bumps in the paper... Anyways I think I would have brushed it away.

mmm im beginning to kinda notice a trend in your style. your use of space is excellent especially in bringing our your subject. its such a minimalistic appeal that really just hits in your in the face. you have a tendency to inject sole objects as your subject to play out the loneliness or maybe to just make a point. in this case, the coins really stands out and the fallen ones are the thing that just literally spills over. and i like the fact the whole picture is tilted. the composition is great. money spilling over. yes greed. capitalism. argh! the evils of the world. but we can't do without it. the background setting has such a lush decandent hedonistic feel about it. some bachelor's pad look u know. yet again, reminds u of expensive european furniture. dont ask me how i derived that from looking at white and white but yes its there. how absolutely apt

What impresses me most is that you managed this from a 60W desk lamp only. The black shadow line in the background is vital here and without it the picture would be worthless. As it is now, top notch, good job!

hehe this one almost slipped by me -_- YOU CAN NOT ESCAPE ME!!!!!...:cough: It's early I'm sorry my brain isn't here. Anyways, Great allusion! That was really captivating. I think this works well with my dieing mother piece which I'm not gonna whore here. The only reason I think this shot loses a tad bit of it's power is because it's pennies. People don't apreciate the lone penny anymore. Seriously, when was the last time you've caught youself, or anyone, picking up a penny? I do it all the time because nothing should go unnoticed and I'm an executor of the old saying "A penny for your thoughts". Wups, I got off on a tangent, still a great shot. The angle really adds some power to it. just really nice over all. and once again, I love the allusion.

Would like to have a series of this style, would be nice. I thought you did a great job on the composition of the piece. I'd say, the one thing I'd alter, the angle of attack on the coins, 'tower', to something a little less extreme. Having the one white posterboard at such an angle sets a skew across the image.
