Really cool!
You should totally do a tutorial for hair and faces..
I always have problems with realistic head shapes so it'd be awsome if you made a tutorial for that.

Hm...it's comforting to know that I'm not the only one who writes two different styles of letters in the same string of words....just noticing you switch between a printed "f" and a partial cursive "f" here and there. I don't do the with "d" though. Too lazy to pull the stroke back down so it always stays up or loops down to connect with another letter following it. Ok. I'll quite rambling at you in my weirdness.

amazing. thank you SO much. seeing just a finished piece is so overwhelming (to an amateur like me) but it helps to see the steps taken by an experienced artist! It's inspiring!!!

Amazing tutorial for an amazing picture! It all looks so logical now, and looking at the progress of the picture gave me new hope to try and improve my own shading. I was stunned to find out that you had a DA account, I found you through the Corel Painter Official Magazine. :3 Congrats for making it to that magazine, by the way!
*it made it to Norway, so your art will definatly get noticed outside UK either it's on the internet or not*

I have never even dared to try 'from-scratch' pictures in PS, but now...
I'll try
Thanks!

Of all tutorials I think yours are the best and easiest to follow ... Ive actually produced some half decent painted work under your guidence but one thing gets me ... how do you get such a clean finished skin tone, despite not actually working into it that much with smudge tool and the like all that much?
This picture is awesome btw, love how it turned out!

It's always interesting to see an artist's progress, especially that of one you admire. I was interested to see how rough you started, and how refined it slowly became.
This makes me so sad now. I have painter classic, but I lost the product key.
Oh well, a divine picture, and a lovely and informative walk-through.
