No, I do not fake my own art.

This is not really a tutorial as much as it's to teach people to not be too naive when it comes to art. There are people who do this! This is of course only one way of doing it, I'm sure there are plenty.

If you do fake your art I have absolutely no respect for you.

Fake art - why care and what to look forI posted this last week for anyone looking for help to spot fake art.  This is not law, if you don't care, feel free to move on.  But if you do care that there are fakers out there, then maybe this could be of some use to you too.  We have a serial faker on the loose on dA today so it sparked this little lot once more.  

So, the questions/scenarios asked are always the same and the responses/justifications are always the same, but give them a minute to sink in before replying and insulting.

(Q1) Why do you care if someone is cheating what does it have to do with you?

you're right! it's digital not traditional. But if you take at the original faked and printed on the paper I am sure you will notice immediately it's not the real thing...

still if you look at the paper I mean the ORIGINAL paper not the picture of a drawing (what we usually see on the net) I think you can see the marks of the pen / pencil because of the hand pressure on the paper. When I started with ink (the robot girl - Angelina Jolie) I made a big mistake by choosing a thin paper instead of rough paper (what I use now) and I almost made a hole in the paper after a week of work .... don't worry if people fake art. There are special studies that can prove who painted / drawn something without the signature. Because when we draw we leave a sign on the paper like when we write so with studies analizyng the sign on the paper they can observe whether a work is real or not, or if the author is the one who signed it or not. Do you understand what I mean?

No but I dont think you understand what I did in this one. I printed out the piece and then drew over it. So if I were to send this to you there would be real pencil marks on the paper!
Yes I understand what you mean, but that sounds more like finding out if the person is an art thief rather than an art faker?

I've just saw a journal with a girl that it is said that is faking art but I don't rrelly know what to beleive. I am still on my point that it's really realy hard to fake REAL art.

Patch tool is great! You can photoshop someone mouth away with it!
