Description Jazzed it up a bit with some colour and made it sort of blueprint-ish / prototype design-esque. Stretched out it's feelers and twisted the rear abdomen. Sketchup, VRay and PS.

Not a problem, honestly the most I learnt from VRay was watching 600v (as he shows specific settings in some of his videos), otherwise i'm happy to do a Skype chat or TeamViewer session for you on a weekend sometime. There are some tips and tricks that took me a while to figure out.

Hi matey, thanks for the reply, I was not aware 600v made some video, I will check this out. I have noticed VRAY seems to render models differently to my render program, it produces a nice comic, painted effect with a nice shine, your cars always look cool in a high end comic book style, I like this very much, 600v is the same. I will tinker around a bit before I bother you anymore, if there are any specific videos you have come across or recommend please let me know. If you ever have any spare time and feel like tinkering with another model, drop me a line, I would love to see what you can do with one of mine , cheers for now

Have a look at my VRay tutorial. Its just an image but I describe how to at a reflection fresnel layer. That's how you get shine!

Feel free to PM me and exchange email addresses. I would be more than happy to teach you anything I know..
