Description
A friend of mine requested a picture of this artist's OC: *feather-ponyartafter a long convincing that took like 4 seconds I agreed to draw her and I agreed to wait with publishing that picture for a while. Then I completely forgot about it and I now, over a month later
I asked if it's ok to post it, he said it's ok, so I'm posting it.
By the way, go watch , she's awesome

Vision-
This picture is very well detailed. The shading is fine, but obvious, and well placed. The fiery shades mingling together in the mane and tail look beautiful, and the ripples in the water, as well as the reflection, give the picture an uncanny resemblance to something you would in real life. The blended shades that make up every object hace a sense of realism, and it's good to see an artist that doesn't outline everything in black.
Originality-
I wasn't quite sure what to put for this one. Many artists draw pictures about spring, and welcoming spring, but the actual content of this picture is very unique, and the scene is drawn in a very unusual pose, like it's just a snapshot of something taking place at one particular moment.
Technique-
As mentioned earlier, the blended shades and tones give the observer a sense of actually being there, watching this pegasus unfold her wings. You didn't use all the same size of lines, either. Some are thicker and some are thinner, which helps with both the vision and originality. Something I found a bit strange, however, was that one side of the pond has ripples, and the other just has lighter spots.
Impact-
I didn't know quite what to take away from this picture, although it spurred a feeling of simplicity. If your goal was to create an image showing the peace, quiet, and tranquility of a calm spring day, then you seem to have hit your target spot-on. If there was another message in this picture that was either hidden, or not known to most observers, then I haven't seen it.
Over All-
The drawing is a very picturesque scene, the artwork was truly stunning, and, once more, the blended colors look fantastic. Despite a few minor hiccups, this is an amazing picture, and I hope that everyone appreciates it as much as I do, and the talent used to create it was not wasted.

Thank you for your critique
You mentioned that one side of the pond doesn't have ripples - it does, but because of the trees and the pegasus there are shadows there that decrease the light there and the ripples there are less visible. (now that's a terrible sentence ) Maybe I overdid it, but that was the idea
And my goal was to draw a nice little scene with a pegasus known for her singing talents, who's singing a song to welcome spring.
Once again, thank you for this comment

This is the most graceful, epic and overall beautiful of Your pictures! I'm just stunned! The pose, and the way she spreads her wing is so amazing! The beautiful, bright colors, which isn't happening very often in Your gallery And... I just don't know: Everything is so well put together, even the reflection... I just can't believe my own eyes!
I want to say more, but... honestly how can You comment on perfection?

This picture is far from perfect... it's a pretty well done picture and I'm really happy with her wings and the background... although I could have work more to bet better results.
Also, the outline is way too strong
