Description
Atlee's adventures to save the world bring her into meeting the initially manipulative Poison Ivy and the embodiment of the Earth itself, the elemental Swamp Thing. The experience is a lesson for all involved and grants wisdom to both Atlee and Ivy.I adored the Atlee version of Terra, she barely had a chance to get going in the DC Universe, being such a fairly new character before the reboot. Yet she effortlessly fitted as Powergirls enthusiastic best friend ( in the 1986/7-2011 DC Universe, Powergirl barely ever spoke to the Huntress, she was better friends with Captain Atom, Sue Dibny, Crimson Fox or Blue Beetle ) you would have sworn she had been around longer than she was. Atlee is from an ancient civilization beneath the Earth, and is a Geo-Kinetic able to move and manipulate rock and Earth.
Poison Ivy is generally regarded as a Batman foe, and best friend ( though she would tend to deny it ) of Harley Quinn and went through some interesting character development beyond her rather tired 'femme fatale' role ( though she did slip back now and again, depending on the writer really ) as well as a considerable power increase allowing the control and guidance of plant life. I kind of like the idea that Atlee's personality would bring the better part of Ivy's character to the fore.
Swamp Thing is a plant elemental and one of the most powerful beings on DC's Earth, he has been both destructive and benevolent in his time. In the appearances he made in the comics i read, he acted as something of a teacher in his encounters with the some of DC's heroes ( though sometimes i think the lesson was 'don't mess with me'

Atlee was so cute and peppy it's a far cry from the grim violent, weird new stuff lol Swamp thing never really got a chance, like they sort of buried him (no pun intended)Β

I agree Atlee wouldn't quite fit at the moment. Swamp Thing was once a fairly high profile character in DC, and has had his moments with other heroes before he went to the Vertigo section of DC, and he has been given more attention recently.

Thank you I was at one point also going to feature Wonder Woman in the picture, being clay given life ( the 1987-2011 version ), i thought she would have fitted with the theme i was aiming for, but i didn't want her to take attention away from Atlee in this picture.
