Karen Starr? I thought she was an older version of Kara Zor-El

Ah well, For as long as i can recall, she has used the name Karen Starr, with 'Kara' used as a shorter version of Karen by her friends, and of the three main Kryptonians she has been the most comfortable on Earth, even more so than Superman in my opinion and has generally displayed little or no particular interest in her Kryptonian heritage and rarely if ever used the Zor-El name.
Originally, unlike Supergirl who was a teenager on Krypton, Karen left Krypton as a baby much like Superman, the main difference being her ship was a different design and she was effectively raised in a computer simulation until she arrived on Earth agedΒ to around 19 to 21 years old.
