Client: Wildstorm EntertainmentMedia: Pencil, Ink, and Adobe Photoshop
A cover for Alan Moore's VOODOO miniseries back in the 90s. I did 3 covers for this 4-issue miniseries, and WS asked me to do it in an Art Nouveau style because it matched the approach that interior artist Michael Lopez had come up with.

I love the Art Nouveou influence, it looks amazing. I just recently did an art piece for class with the influence of Mucha's art style (had to combine different artist styles) . This is really awesome.

ohhh I love the art nouveau and even more if it is based on that of Alfons Mucha, for me the best.

omg! In my city there is the Mucha exhibiton right now, and I could never tell anyone, if I see this there, that it's not an original one from the master. And it's even very beautiful!

Out of everything in this, I especially like how you rendered her breast. It just looks really natural in terms of gravity yet still being young/perky. I feel like larger, natural looking breasts aren't often well represented in art. But you always do such a nice job. I'm sure there are people who may complain about that not being how women look, but I have a couple girlfriends with very similar figures so that is not true. And, hey, no one complains about classical artists depicting their era's idealized human anatomy. Okay, enough rambling. Great cover, I love it. I'm always a sucker for some good ol' Art Nouveau.

I love Mucha! And you did a great job imitating his style. I have 2 books about him and a framed artprint (80x40 cm) on my wall. hehe. I love him. Great inspiration, I think. And a true Pioneer. Good job

I recently read the trade paperback of the miniseries and admired all the alternate covers. It's beautiful work. Classic art deco and very evocative of that mysterious tale.
