Description Someone just sent me a note asking "WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON RIGHT NOW!"

Well, when someone 'asks' you a question in ALL CAPS and with an exclamation mark instead of a question mark, what can you do except take a screen capture of your desktop while you are working.

If you are the person who sent me said imperative request... here you go.

Hit Caps Lock off, and try some de-caf.

No, the coloring is easy if you know how. It's just that I've received 126 questions about Channels vs. Layers, and they are not two different ways to work. It's frustrating explaing over and over again that very simple premise. All Layers are made up of Channels. When you work in Layers, you are already working in Channels, just 4 at the same time. Yes,, each Channel is technically its own Grayscale Channel, and you can go in and push pixels around if you want, but there is vritually no practical advantage to it unless it is a very, VERY specific circumstance. Just color in Layers, like the program was designed for; its the best way to work.

I don't speak Russian, but I make it a point to know how to say 'thank you' and 'you're welcome' in as many languages as I can possible hold in my poor head. Someone from Russia thanked me in her native tongue, so I did the courtesy of responding in kind.

Trie to select the areas that you want to color, to separate in layers and later applying hue/saturation in the colorize mode.

sorry the bad inglish

This will require a big post. I may have to do it as a Journal FAQ. Stay tuned.
