Nice use of color Oh Great One. This may be a style thing but It would be nice if you lost the lines and played with the edges instead. But god, this is so good. Really, someone needs to stop you ASAP!!!!!

You're exactly right, sir Riches of Knowledge, lines are a no-no on this piece, and for me in general. This piece is actually a bit old now, and these days I know that lines aren't my thing; though some people blow me away with linework.

oh paaaaalease. I got back from the San Diego Comic Con a few days ago. It was a lot of fun to say the least. The coming weeks will tell how lucrative it really was... Other than that I'm relaxing now, taking a few days off.

Those frogs are adorable! Do you have any problems with the illustration board bowing when you paint on it? I never knew you could pull paintings off so nicely on non-wooden boards.

no, I've never had any problems with illustration board warping. some people paint a big X on the back to prevent bowing, but I find that if there's any weirdness, I can just kind of bend it back to where it should be. But most of the time, I use wooden boards, and if they bow, I just lay them flat with some heavy weight on them for a few weeks.
