I like this cover more than the original, a lot more. It fits more with the book I think than the current one of her on Iorik (I can't spell that silly bear's name).

I love how others have made art for this series!
I'm impressed with the colors, and I also like the halo above the compass. Lyra's face is stunning! The Aurora is a nice touch, as well as all of the individual symbols on the compass. I'm sure others have given you plenty of critique, but I'd like it more if Pantalaimon's anatomy was improved (the wings seem too widely attached, like a butterfly), and if the left wing was darkened more at the joint so it appeared to be aligned with the rest of the body.

I like several of your artworks but I'm picking at least one first favourite of those that I watch and I feel this one deserved it! I think you captured a feeling that seems very fitting for the book and I like very much how the character is portrayed. I also appreciate very much the surface texture and brush strokes you have accomplished.
