photoshop is quite capable of allowing you to get as detailed as you want. but the detail also depends on the artist. and what really helps is a tablet. i don't know if you've used photoshop before or not, but the best way to get the best results [in my opinion] is thru a tablet. also, speed and quality are important efficiency aspects to develop, especially when working for clients.

I'm not much of an artist myself. But I had to use photoshop in school in my computer class. We were learning to use all of the different tools available. I just never knew you could do so much with it. Totally awesome!

what...ten hours? that's short, especially when broken up over 2-3 days.
when art is all you do, 10hrs is nothing. i could have done it in a day but, i had an animation due on july1 so i could only work on it a few hours a night these past few nights.
