The original design sheet for the character "Gothic Lolita" from LIVEWIRES, the "mecha superteam" miniseries I wrote and laid out for Marvel a few years ago.As the bit at the left might indicate (that's supposed to be a tank's cannon barrel she's bending), GothLol is the team's "heavy artillery"... Or, to quote her teammate, "Social Butterfly":
"Her body is a massively hyperdense assembly of smartware tailored for 'Hulksmashitude'... So she's 500 adorable pounds of beat-'em-uppiness."

I've noticed a lot of people are confusing Ero Lolita with Gothic Lolita in the lolita subsets ... I think it's because lots of Eros choose more mature darker colors, and can get away with leather.
It's okay, though. I rather like this picture. The character looks vibrant, and the clothes are fantastic.

I would say this style is better classified as
'Ero Lolita' here's why:
gothic and ero lolita are VERY similar but often confused--gothic lolita must be more modest--longer skirt, less skin showing, covered chest and shoulders etc. etc.
ero loli is the 'sexy lolita' because it shows a little more than the other styles
the skirt can be shorter but not too short because then it stops being lolita

Actually, this probably doesn't classify as ero lolita either. Ero lolita is misunderstood, rather than being overly slutty it focuses on being "Cheeky" (think victorian era's sexy standards).

I liked GL (especially with the skull-n-pigtails logo) for her humor, although my favorite overall was Stem Cell (because of character development). Would like to see the team patched back up; hopefully the book's not closed forever.
Personally, I like the two uppermost sketches on the right side. The right/middle one where she's looking upward a bit gives her a kinda peaceful look; not sure how to describe the uppermost right one - probably something like everyday casual wear?

I do believe this is one of the greatest new characters at Marvel since Devil Dinosaur or The Captain.
A Nextwave/Livewires teamup would huggin' rock. Ad zombies and/or Squirrel Girl and its pretty much printed orgasm.
I also allways liked the description of GothLol: "Ben Grimm in babydoll lace".
