From my ever-dwindling supply of color pieces, here's another illo that Ryan Kinnaird and yers truly did for EA's snowboarding videogame SSX3. Specifically, this is the "wallpaper" version of said illo, once available (but no longer, alas) from EA's website.So, yep, it's "Allegra"... I'm not fond of her right leg, but hey, this is a somewhat old piece. (2003, maybe?) Allegra and all the speed line effects in the background (and foreground, technically) were hand-drawn, but the Osprey aircraft and the mountains in the BG were derived from elements EA supplied us.

LOL I still remember one critic's way of describing the new characters for SSX 3...in short he didn't like them, he was "oh great...so we've got...a kid, aΒ Swedish dush, an avril lavigne and Nate Logan...yep i'm going with Nate Logan...because the others look crap".

his words not mine people,Β I likeΒ all characters (with the exception of Luther whom just annoys me with his aggro antisocial behaviour). I like allegra for three reasons; firstly because she is that stereotype ofΒ a sk8er chick who obviously wants to let people in but has insecurity issues. secondly she is one of two characters to have ACTUAL "issues" in the game (the other being psymon), yeah she has bipolar. and thirdly she is just generally kind of cool.

other than moby and psymon, shes my favorite character, but in the new one i sorta dislike the characters, theres no allegra no psymon and moby looks exactly like mahalik from scary movie 3 and 4

Very nice. Been fond of this one for years. Nice to finally tell you. Been on my laptop's wallpaper frequently. The overall atmoshpere and intensity combined with style and sexiness is awesome.

This is one of my favorite characters from that game. I use her all the time. My favorite board in the game is the one with this picture on it. Though I dress her in the more GI Joe style shirt.
You sure were generous with her bust in this one. Mind you that's not a complaint.
I can kind of see what you mean by her right leg. It looks fine to me, but you normally do have more foreshadowing in a limb that's coming out.
I think it's just one of those things that only the artist would notice. We make a picture and no matter how good it can be we obsess over the flaws.
