Description
I was never that happy with the previous image I had done for Scout's 'Better Know a Unique' entry. After getting a little more practice with the character under my belt, I started a doodle that turned into a sketch that turned into a full-on drawing... and when it was done I said to myself "I oughtta color that!"And, unlike the 9 out of 10 other times I say that, this time I actually DID "color that." I think he turned out nicely, and it's a much better representation of Scout than the previous one.

Oh, I'm definitely enjoying it. Really quite well done. I also picked up a lot of Star Wars references. Namely one of the hologram creatures being a Fire Wampa, Two of Scout's lines (I've got a bad feeling about this and That armor's too strong for blasters) and a quip made by Motherboard in the last issue.

They're coming along. We hope to settle into a bi-monthly schedule for the book, but are looking for a late-April/early May release for #2. If possible, we want to have #2 for the Pittsburgh con at the end of April, but we'll see if that's even mechanically doable.

I'm still in the thinking stages on starting a web comic. It's good to see books like The Uniques on the web. Usually web comics produce rinky-dink stuff I can't get into. I'll always love Marvel and DC comics, but it's good to step out and explore new stories and characters.
