I do have to wonder about DA's DD system sometimes, but I agree that this has its own rustic kind of beauty. True, most of your works are more polished and perfect than this one, but sometimes a rougher style works, too. In this case, I think it helps emphasise the mood and the creepiness of that forest. Falen sooooo should've listened to his horse! Horses know things about creepy forests.

Only the artist sees the flaws. You are crazy if you think another pic deserved a DD. I absolutely love this. I love the expressions on both of their faces. If I look long enough I really can see the loyalty on the boys face. This piece did deserve the DD and obviously someone else saw it too. Congratulations. This is definitely my new favorite piece.

Darling, do you remember there was an old portrait of Luke...or Falen...or Luke...Falen...Luke...Falen...Luke...LUKE(O___o) or was it FALEN - How do I know who is who now? *it will forever be a mysteryyyyyy* - in your website? You've taken it off for sometime already, but I didn't quite catch why. The title was Potrait of Luke, me thinks, and it was available in both lineart and paint. I just remember Luke's face being really big and well-painted, though I'm not sure what happened to it. Miss it very much, though... @_@ Melancholy reminds me of it, too.

So meloncholy. You can definitely tell that despair emenates from poor Luke. It is good, though, that he has a friend to share in his pain. That might sound bad but I believe we all need a friend in our hours of darkness. Very nice piece of work as per usual.

Wow, I love this piece. Danny looks kinda evil... I think it's the background and shadows over his face. Luke looks like he's thinking about something secret, too. How mysterious. 0o0 It looks watercolor-y (I love dark watercolor), and it's very pretty in its emotional and gloomy way. ^___^ I sound kinda weird... sorry.
