“The Watering Hole” is about the lives of several dinosaurs hanging around a watering hole in Portugal, 150 million years ago.

The episode begins late one night around an Allosaurus family, which is being kept awake by a loudmouthed Ornithelestes announcing its territory. Mom gets up to deal with it. She is not gone for long.

The next morning, a particularly playful Allosaur youngster is playing around with the Ornithelestes skull his mom brought back last night, when he runs smack into a herd of long-necked Dinheirosaurus, which have left a group of Lusotitan to drink from the titular watering hole. The giants do not take kindly to the youngster’s attempts to play, and leave him stunned on the ground with a broken jaw.

Eleven years later, the youngster has grown into a subadult predator with a noticeably crooked jaw who has made the watering hole a key part of his territory. A new predator has taken to hanging around the watering hole, a somewhat larger Torvosaurus that tends to use sheer size and aggression to get what it wants. The local animals are less prepared to deal with this brash interloper than with the subtler opportunist Allosaurus, and even the iguanodont Draconyx and the spiky Miragaia live in dread of this monster - but interestingly, while Rhamphorhynchus circle overhead, a combination of factors will work together in the Allosaur's favor to take his new rival down...

Oh I seen this one, the poor Al, he was so funny to watch. It's lucky that he was able to turn his injury into a strength.

I didn't see the full episode sadly, but I feel in love with that little Allosaurus, he's just an amusing little guy. Have you seen Planet Dinosaur? I been watching dino clips on youtube I'll admit, but it is quite a nice series.

You can find clips on Youtube. They did a beautiful job with constructing an animating the dinosaurs. Another good one Jurassic Fight Club, that one is impressive to watch and you can find most of the episodes there, there's a bunch of scientific things in both, showing the bones and all of that. I love those dinosaur shows, they're real-like and no dinos eating people (which is why I hate JP).

This show sounds different, I only watched clips of it. Like Broken Jaw's accident, I love the one with the little pterosaur learning to fly. It's good to know that there is dino shows out there.
