I love the Heroine. From movie characters like Princess Leia, Leeloo, Black Widow, Lara Croft and Aeon Flux, to books on characters like Devi Morris (Fortunes Pawn by Rachel Bach) and Priscilla Hutchins (J McDevitt's Academy series) the list goes on. Even when playing a consol game like Mass Effect the character Shepard for me has to be female. This is a love tribute to all those great femme fatale's we see in movies, books and games.Related content

Why is she leaning in such an awkward manner? I could see it if the guy behind her was shooting at her, or she had obviously been shot, but the angle just seems very weird.
I also however love the femme fatale, or even female noir detective feel.

Ok I was mearly capturing an exaggerated comic look to the pose whilst keeping a sassy sultry feel to the protagonist character. Her left gun is smoking from previous gunfire. As she has sensed there is someone behind her, she is in a mid flight turn to draw her right gun and either fire at the antagonist or hold him at gun point. The guy behind is not holding the gun up at this point, but is remaining as a ready threat as if to attempt to creep up and seize her.
