Wow, you nailed it. This is freaking amazing!! I've been fascinated with flying, at high altitude scenic view, videos and this takes that same theme to the Ringworld future. Bravo!!!

Magnificent....but isn't that planet close enough to be a tidal threat? My understanding is that the ring world engineers swept away all solar materials they wouldn't need for the ring.

It's been awhile since I read Ringworld. Was there a neighboring moon or planet? What's that object in the upper right quadrant?

I dont remember a neighbouring moon in the book. However this is just my interpretation, the moon was put in to give a feel of depth and distance as opposed to being true to the book.
