Description
This was probably the image I should have made after Winter's Grace, it felt good taking my time and working on this with no pressure from other sources. Brutal file, it's never a good thing when the pixels/second drop to less than 25 and the remaining timer counts upward for your render. I was going to render for print but this one took over 8 hours, this size.Completely made with Ultra Fractal. Somewhat my traditional style but slightly new techniques tucked away here and there.

Probably the top one of all my non-printed works that I would love to have printed. Maybe one day when I can let my computer run for at least three days I'll try again with a smaller print.

Had jet engines and grinders in mind when making it.

Cool! It really emanates dark power and wacth out, I'm dangerous.

The color-scheme has a distinct "Spiderman" feel to it. Perhaps I've seen too many previews of late. Nevertheless, I like how you have everything spiraling from that off-centered orb. Good composition.

Hadn't noticed that before but I can see it now. Glad you noticed the orb, it's a clear one that's subtle. I used it to cover a way too tight spiral and make it less flat.

Well done!! I know little of UF but have always admired the artists that really know how to use this program as you do. ~Rykk is one that comes to mind as does ~kat

Very nice. I like the red/white/black combination here. It feels more like Apophysis' rotational than a UF, and I think that's part of why I like it. It doesn't slot neatly into a fractal done by either of these programs. The center is especially interesting, especially the way it's positioned in the image.

Thanks. It's more abstract than fractal, even though it's 100% fractal (frame included). I think I pushed my own personal boundaries more on this than any other.

Awesome render !!! And the perfect title!!!
It reminds me of when we used to take corkboard and glue it on to a thick piece of wood... then layout a pattern similar to the white, in your render...pound nails in strategic places ..then wrap string continuously around the nails until we had the design we wanted. Well that is a poor explanation, but I hope you get the idea!!!
