Description I have this image made that I named Peeled because it looks like the fractal is being split in two, like peeled bark. It has a few things about it that irritate me every time I look at it. The first time I tried to fix it, I tore it down to the bottom layer and rebuilt it into Technocracy [link] . The second time I tore it down to the base level to fix it, this emerged. After two complete rebuilds and a couple days worth of rendering, I'm at the point that Peeled will stay the way it is. If you want, I can post it later, but for the tech series, this is the final one. Time to move on and make something completely different.

Ultra Fractal. Comments and critiques welcome.

Interesting to see you using green here, whereas the previous two tech works were mostly in various shades of blue. It works terrific, though! I love the way the picture flows from the top to the bottom, the circular shapes at the top and the lines that flow from there, and the way the green at the bottom looks like data streams in a 'Matrix'-kind of way. It all comes together really well in a work that fits the title perfectly. Top class!

Aeires In reply to YuichiSuzutake [2005-04-05 05:45:32 +0000 UTC]

It was more an accident than anything else. I was working with blue and a deeper maroon, but one of the formulas added a lot of green, so I ran with it. Green seemed to work with the energy, so I'm glad it happened.

Aeires In reply to Formor [2005-04-03 04:55:50 +0000 UTC]

People will never see green the same after that movie.

It was originally a deeper red/maroon color. The green was an accident when I added a layer. It looked good, so I left it to give that circuit color.

Ellygator In reply to ??? [2005-04-02 13:40:18 +0000 UTC]

Just amazing! I love the overall flow and grace of the "white" composition, which strikes me as very mystical, spiritual even. But then there's the amazing contrast to the vast, deep and dark, biomechanical feel of the background that intensifies towards the bottom of the picture. I know it's an abstract, but it is very evokative and emotive for me.

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Aeires In reply to Ellygator [2005-04-03 02:43:03 +0000 UTC]

Thank you very much. I was trying to get that feeling of the light being the energy that drives the circuit. There's a lot of spiritual aspects to light and energy, so that works too. Glad you like it.
