I was planning on only posting one image a week and on the weekends, but this weekend is looking like it's going to be busy, so I'm posting this today. Anyone that comments or faves it, I'll answer your comments as soon as possible.

Thank you. Seems like things move in circles. I used to use red a lot, then blue and purple, and now I'm loving brown. Maybe some nice white images for winter.

I'd say alien invader. I see aliens everywhere in fractals.

this looks quite interesting and unusual. ilove the clear-cut lines that give the feeling the dude has deadly razors in each side of his head.

Then there's this blurriness in the center of the pic, that gives it a very misterious aura, contributing to the alienness of the alien.

Nice render! The structures on it make it look like it could be a number of things, like you suggested. I see the weapon of mass destruction firing a beam of doom at something off-screen, or a bug head with some sort of weird tongue. Maybe also an artifact or underwater temple where gravity doesn't affect structural integraty as much?

The colors are relaxing yet critical at the same time, and the area around the "mouth" that is firing the "beam" almost looks like it was x-rayed to show the inside. Good structures.

Thanks. Getting the colors down on this one was really tricky. It bordered on being too bleached out or too dark and wouldn't shift like they normally do, but I put some extra layers into it for balance. The guy on top with the glowing eyes developed first and it was pure fun after that one. After working on this off and on, I couldn't wait to see what kind of response this guy got.

Hey, thanks. Yeah, it's lit up like one.

The base formula is a Barnsley 3 (Mandelbrot). Rare and difficult to work with, but sure does make interesting images. This might help also: [link] .
