Description
This is one of my projects from my Fundamentals of Animation class a few months back. I really like how it turned out, so I thought I'd post it. It took me a while to convert the original Maya playblast into an interactive Flash video. I was going to just embed the video, convert it, and upload it, but I wanted to learn a little bit about how Actionscript 3.0 works.Through this side project I learned this: I am NOT a coder; I am an artist. I don't plan on coding very much, and the few times I do code, I'll be writing basic functionality into the video, such as buttons and click events. Games aren't likely, but plenty of entertaining videos, animations, and guides/tutorials with basic interactivity will be. In fact, I think I'll convert my "How I Draw My Little Ponies" [link] into an interactive video slideshow; it would be easier to follow and read.
