I'm still learning as I go along, so things change. This is by no means a be-all end-all guide, nor is it a professional standard of any kind; it's just what works for me.
EDIT: I changed the process once again, due to time issues and such. I now do pencils on the 11x15 bristol board and ink directly on top, without scanning and re-printing. Fixes are made at the scanned inks stage in PS.

These steps are so thorough! And goddddd I can't believe you can go straight from the pale pencil lines to those gorgeous, bold inks! And it's pretty handy using two different lead shades. @____@ <3
AAANNDDDD You plan ahead for printing!!! Very wise, especially with your body of work, you should totally be prepared to sell every comic you make. I know I would buy them. ; ) (have) haha

Oh, but your commentary is always so hilariously worded! I love reading it.
I stopped going from wispy pencils to inks because I was making too many mistakes... and if I didn't like how things turned out, I'd have to re-pencil and re-ink on the side of the page and it was just not fun! So now I do the dark pencils because I can erase mistakes before inking, yay! But yeah, it's kinda depressing to think about how a page takes me 4-5 hours to put together and it will be read in 30 seconds. *cries*
Save your pennies; I'll have more (dirty) stuff for sale at the start of November.

Whatever works, you know? If I could draw a straight line in photoshop, I'd probably have a lot fewer steps.

My printer can cope with Bristol board, and it would be prohibitively expensive. The paper gets a little warped sometimes, but nothing I can't flatten out and fix when I scan.
