Description
When I originally set out to make the phoenix , I had two concepts in mind. One was of a bird with some fiery gold plumage--basically like the original picture (see link above). The other idea I had in mind was a bird made of actual fire, shooting through the air like a comet. So here we have it.Related content

This is sooo beautiful! I love it!!!!! I was wondering if you would be okay with it if I (POSSIBLY) used this as a book cover (for an e-book)Β for the book shown at this page:Β www.wattpad.com/story/7133705-β¦Β . It is such a beautiful image, and it would look wonderful asΒ the cover to the e-book. Again, I may not use it evenΒ if I do have your permission, due t other possible arrangements. However, I would love it if I had your permission in case there is a change with the other possibilities.
Thank you!
~Meg

Hi Meg,
It's good to note me about things like this. I've done book covers in the past on a non-exclusive licensing basis, but I do charge a fee for the right to use my artwork for commercial purposes (i.e. selling and promoting books). Feel free to note me if you're interested.
Cheers,

Beautiful creature this is: it blends perfectly with the surrounding skyline and the landscape alike.
Still, is it a friend... or an enemy? You don't see Fantasia 2000 as a kid without having some doubts about a nature's spirit's true colors.

Loving the colours! Putting it with a wheat field and a sunset is a really smart way of catching the viewers attention!

I think this one looks more like a phoenix, the other one looks more like a bird of paradise and a peacock. both there both really good
amazing flame and light work on the tips of the wing, also humorous how its flying over wheat, but its not ablaze

Very beautiful picture and very beautiful bird! It seems to be strong and noble "little" creature. There wouldn't be need to be afraid of anything if this creature was your pet!
Well - maybe water!

Wow. This is just incredible. It looks almost like the bird was a part of the sun and has broken loose. Amazing, just amazing.

I can actually imagine sitting in a wheat field and looking up at that flying over. Just when I think you can't get any better with your art, you prove me wrong time and time again; this is excellent.

Hee, thanks so much! Your comment is much appreciated! This is very much like what my original idea of the phoenix was, but for the longest time I couldn't manage it. I had trouble manipulating the fire. After making the phoenix, I had enough experience working with fire to be able to do this firebird.

I really love the whole concept of "phoenix", and this definitely does it justice!
