Gift art for my bird bro del sur, of his Eurasian Jay character. He is an amazing friend, downright brilliant and just all around awesome. Hope you like it, bro, and thank you for all the great feedback and conversations. Looking forward to many more. ^v^The line art version of this is posted, as I'm still experimenting with shading. This is great, man. Your linework still gets through with your shading, and in the worst case you always have your linework scanned and backed up anyway ^^ I think it's great to see the markings and definition of the character here, with the darker spots and wing tips. Your anatomy, particularly with the legs as well, seems to be trying out slightly different approaches. It's all really cool to see ^^ Keep up the great work, man!

Indeed, the shading seems to add a great deal of character to it. I'm going to have to keep working with it for a while, though. I'd like to get to the point where I can start shading to show things like depth and perspective.
