Render for this piece were Bryce5 Bud ( I've since moved on to C4D) thats quite an old piece. I use PS7 for all other work ....Thanx for the comment and

colors here are pretty nice, very kewl ray, simply yet bit too small
overall kewl stuff, you could dellete this grin on upper right part, or lover da opacity
but that's just me

this looks really good man, i think the placement of the 2d is jsut right, the brushwork is comin along really good too, one thing next time you use brushing add a layer style-outer glow play around with the size and it will give that xtra glow, thats just one technique i use..

i think it needs work on the colouring part - i.e.
you could make the lazer beam the focal point and all the other things a dark blue gradient overlay that gradually colours into a nice haze green : )
