Aaahhhh--July 22nd was the first anniversary of the launch of Pokemon Go, and there were huge celebrations all across the globe. Meanwhile I went to my local gyms and Pokestops and caught all I could with the candy/point bonuses. It was a small but fun way to celebrate.
I know a lot of people give the game flack. Personally, having never been able to participate in Pokemon games in the past (besides playing at my cousin's or friends' houses), this is a really fun way for me to get out and walk around and pretend like I have a valid team by my side XD It makes me really happy!
Anyway, I drew this the night before the anniversary date so I could post it the next morning. I was happy to be done! Since I was just young enough to enjoy the first generation, I just drew some of the ones I've caught. (Not to say that the later gens don't have their gems <3)

#teaminstinct !!! ^_^ I haven't been able to play since Christmas because it stopped opening on my phone. Someday I'll have a new phone and will resume play with access to the new Gen. :3
