Oh we'll get to see Spring Vs. Fall. Which I assume that by the end of the volume Cinder might probably get the spring maiden powers too and become even more overpowered. Unless Vernal's last thought become Raven or something.

Well, one of many scenarios, but your is the most likely.

Ruby is quite mysterious cause she might very well be not the daughter of anyone.

I've seen some...real crazy theories out there.

I agree with the first and last thing you said, but I have very little faith in the goodness of Raven's heart at the moment and I doubt that will change. Even if she refuses to help Salem, that doesn't redeem her as a person. Luckily, she has so many people after her now that she's bound to lose something. I just hope Yang can rescue Weiss before Cinder and the Spring Maiden start fighting.

Yeah I although, I remember Raven and Qrow's conversation in volume 4. She definitely feels uncomfortable talking about Yang. When Qrow brought it up, she got heated. That's a big red flag for me showing she still cares to an extent.

I suppose it's possible, but do you think she would release Weiss if Yang told her to? Would she try to keep Yang out of harm's way when the Maidens started blowing stuff up? I have my doubts.

Trust me, Raven doesn't really care too much about being a mother at this current point. She really needs to experience being in a lot of danger and requiring help to realize that blood related family is extremely important and bandit families are only skin deep and how much money you have.

Raven can only react in 2 ways, 

Anger or Sorrow.

I personally would prefer the latter. 

She's already got enough angst as it is.
